Adopt a Butterfly campaign begins in Macungie – Times News Online

Macungie Pool is open. The swimming pool opening hours are noon to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends. Registrations are no longer necessary. Pool patrons must park outside Macungie Memorial Park during the Antique Truck Show June 17-19. Swimming lessons are also available. More information is available at www.MacungiePark.com.
There will be an Adopt a Butterfly for the summer campaign in the Borough of Macungie. For each adoption fee, a 22-inch butterfly will be placed on Main Street from early June to mid-August.

Grace Lutheran Church, 28 W. Main St., offers her free community meal as a driving option. The next meal will be offered from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on June 11.
Grace Lutheran Church offers a monthly contactless gift for Grace Food Storage Cabinets. The next dates for the food cabinet are 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on June 22 and 25, when everyone can receive a bag with non-perishable foods. There will also be an additional distribution from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on June 9. Both events will take place in the parking lot; signs will be displayed.
Grace Lutheran Church now offers in-person worship service at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. Worshipers must register online in advance. The Macungie Farmers Market is open Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Lumber Street, just off Main Street, Macungie.
